Kilmore Cathedral
St. Feithlimidh's Cathedral, located only 5km from Cavan town in Kilmore, is said to house the most famous Romanesque doorway incorporated into a building in the 19th Century and is of much archaeological significance. It is said that this doorway was once part of the ancient priory in Lough Oughter and dates back to the 19th Century.
Drumlane Monastery
Located in the small village of Milltown, only 4 miles from Belturbet, the monastery is situated on the edge of the lake which forms one of the north-westerly outliers from Lough Oughter. Dating back to the 6th century, it is thought that the monastery was built by the St. Mogue, the Bishop of Ferns. Enjoy the stunning scenery around this ancient site and the lake views which hare spectacular.
The Ramor Theatre
This theatre opened in 1999 and has enjoyed cultural and artistic excellence providing many events throughout the year. The Ramor Theatre prides itself on providing events in the performing arts with a variety of shows on its calendar.
