House Overview

Lovely 3 bedroom (sleep 5) cottage in a quiet location. There is another cottage on the same site each with their own independent gardens.

The ground floor has a kitchen with washing machine, microwave and gas cooker (there is no dishwasher or tumble dryer), the dining area can seat 6 comfortably, the living room has an open fire, TV and can seat 5 comfortably. There is also a shower room. The first floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 double, 1 single and guest WC.

The enclosed garden has a picnic table and BBQ for guests use.

The nearest village is Ballingleara( ½ mile) and has 2 pubs, 2 shops, and a church. Dowra village is 1 mile away with several pubs, supermarkets pharmacy etc. Drumshambo town 7 miles away with pubs, restaurants, church, tourist office, supermarkets, pharmacy etc. Good restaurants in Black lion and Belcoo 9 miles north. Lough Allen across the road with entrances within walking distances. Fishing, boating on the lake, walks, estuary where the Shannon rises within walking distance.

This is a very peaceful area with fabulous scenery of mountains and lakes surrounding with many hillside walks.

Bed linen and towels are supplied, electricity and heating are included. Cots and high chairs are not available. An extra bed can be supplied at no extra charge.
