House Overview

Abbey Court Lodges are a mix of 3, 5, and 8 bedroom lodges (sleeping 6, 10 and 16 persons) located on the grounds of the Abbey Court Hotel, in the bustling North Tipperary town of Nenagh. This new development allows guests to savour the luxury of the 4* hotel whilst enjoying the freedom that comes with a self catering holiday. Each luxurious lodge is designed to give a special living space, airy and bright, yet warm and comfortable – a home away from home!

Furnished to a 4* standard and equipped with all modern conveniences, all lodges have fully equipped kitchens with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, washer dryer, satellite TV, DVD, modem access and electric fire in the living room. Each lodge has an enclosed wood decking rear garden complete with garden furniture. Lodge guests can enjoy the facilities of the hotel including the Trinity Leisure Club during their stay.

Three bedroom lodges: ground floor – entrance hall, living room, kitchen-dining area, downstairs toilet, patio to the rear of the house. The first floor boasts a double bedroom (4ft bed) and twin bedroom sharing a shower room, king/twin bedroom with ensuite shower. Please note, the 3 Bedroom Lodge is not wheelchair accesible.

Five bedroom lodges: ground floor – hall, living room, kitchen-diner, double bedroom, patio to the rear of the house. Two double bedrooms are on the ground floor while upstairs there are two double bedrooms (one of which is ensuite), and one twin room.

Eight bedroom lodges (wheelchair friendly): boast a king/twin bedroom on the ground floor with a wet room wheel in shower. The first floor has 3 doubles with ensuites and 1 double. The second floor has 2 double bedrooms with ensuite and 1 twin bedroom. The dining area seats 8 people comfortably and there are 2 sofas in the living area.

Onsite Facilites There are wonderful onsite Hotel facilities available for use by holiday homes guests including crèche (€5.00/hour), kiddies club during the summer, baby sitting, bar and restaurant.:

Kids Club:

The Abbey Court's Rug Rats Kids Club includes organised activities for junior guests (4-10years) while for super junior guests, the hotel also provides a crèche on-site. Activities include swimming, painting, play dough, puzzles, story time, out-door play, arts and crafts, tea time and much more! New for 2011- Pool/Games Room for children 12+

Leisure Centre:

The Trinity Leisure Club at the Great National Abbey Court Hotel Tipperary is renowned for being equipped to the highest standards, whether you want to relax, unwind or increase your fitness level, we have something for you. Featuring a 20 metre swimming pool, kiddies pool, spa, sauna, steam room and spacious Jacuzzi. The fully equipped and state of the art conditioned gymnasium features free weights area, exercise and fitness programmes, aqua aerobic classes, personal training and a sports injury clinic. Guests may also avail of the hotels onsite 'Jamies Hair Salon', open Tuesday – Saturday 9.30 -6pm.

Please note that unfortunately Abbey Court Lodges cannot accept pets and guests are respectfully requested to refrain from smoking in the lodges.

Additional Charges:

• Electricity and heating (electric storage) are chared at €8 per day per lodge and payable locally
• Linen and towels are provided
• Cots and highchairs available - please request when booking
• There is a cleaning charge of 1 clean per 3 or 5 bedroom lodge = €35 per lodge and 1 clean per 8 bedroom lodge = €65 (Clean applicable from 4 nights plus) payable on check in

A €100 Security Deposit is required on arrival, this will be refunded provided that there have been no breakages/damages.

Please Note: The hotel, bar, restaurant and leisure centre are closed for the Christmas Period-22nd December -29th December.

There is a minimum 2 night stay for Friday and Saturday nights at The Lodges.
