House Overview
Ardnagashel Woods is situated on the sea between Glengariff and Bantry, and is perfectly placed for touring the beautiful and dramatic South West.
The cottages are set in woodlands and gardens with magnificent views over Bantry Bay. The Estate has its own pebble beach. The Beara, Sheeps Head and Mizen Peninsulas are all within an easy drive. Guests at Ardnagashel are spoilt for choice with excellent local restaurants, shops, pubs and craft centres and for those seeking outdoor activity, there are a wide range of amenities on the doorstep.
Facilities:
Houses have Open plan Living/Dining and Kitchen area. kitchen area with microwave, cooker and fridge/freezer. Bed linen included.
Extra Charges:
A €100 Security Deposit is requested on arrival - this will be refunded provided that there have been no breakages/damages and the house has been left in a clean and tidy condition.
Cots & High Chairs avilable (subject to availability) -Extra cost of €5.00 each per stay.
Towels available to hire.
Electricity: Meter read and an extra charge.

Blarney Castle
Blarney Castle was built in 1446 by Cormac Laidir McCarthy as a defensive fortress. What is known as the Castle today, is in fact the keep of a much larger fortress.
Fota Wildlife Park, Carrigtwohill
Located just off the main road to Cobh, this Park was established in 1983 and has more than 70 species of exotic wildlife in open natural surroundings, with no obvious barriers.
Bantry House & Gardens, Bantry
Bantry House was built around 1740. It was bought by the White family in 1765, and was enlarged by Richard White who was the 2nd Earl of Bantry. The house has a collection of tapestries, furniture and art treasures which were mainly collected by the Earl.
