Leisure activities:

The Leisure Centre in the Hotel offers freeform swimming pool, steam room and sauna. On the first floor there is a well equipped gymnasium and weights room with a glass wall overlooking the 10th fairway which creates a light and airy atmosphere.

Kidz Club
Ballyk Kidz club also available for the family break. A fun and safe environment for your children aged 3-11 to play and enjoy the company of other children during their stay. There are two sessions daily during holiday time from 10am – 1pm and 5.30pm-8pm.

There are many activities to keep your kidz busy, these range from Pool Tournaments, Swimming, Tennis & Golf lessons, Arts & Crafts, Board Games, and Story & Movie time. Parental sign in is essential, and children must be signed out prior to leaving the 'BallyK Kidz Club'. Booking is essential for the Ballyk Kidz Club.

Things to do - Local attractions:
The Glen of Aherlow Nature Park: features many easily followed walking trails and picnic sites are available. Situated just outside Dundrum on the Tipperary road, the beautifully developed Marl Bog has easy walking routes around the lake & woods. The Ballyhoura Way, a segment of the O'Sullivan Beara Route starts from John's Bridge close to Liscarroll, Co Cork and ends at Limerick Junction close to the hotel.

Mountain climbing for the more experienced hiker is available in the Galtee and Knockmealdown Mountains.

Equestrian activities - Hillcrest Equestrian Centre, 13 miles from the hotel offers classes for all levels of horse riding, trekking, show jumping, dressage, hunting etc. They also offer guided cross country courses, full week trail rides, pony camps and guided mountain and forestry rides in the nearby Glen of Aherlow or the Galtee Mountains. The excellent Cahir Equestrian Centre is also within 30 minutes of the hotel.

Angling can be enjoyed nearby in the River Suir - permits will be sold from the hotel.

Tipperary Racecourse is situated directly opposite the hotel. Other Racecourses in the area include Limerick, Thurles & Clonmel.

Adventure sports such as Laser Shooting, Mud Carting, Archery and Laser Paintball are all available approx 30 minutes from the hotel. Some can be arranged onsite. There is also a host of cultural and historical attractions in the area - such as the Rock of Cashel, Bru Boru Cultural Centre, Cahir Castle & the Swiss Cottage, Holy Cross Abbey, Mitchelstown Cave and many more.
