If you’re looking for a holiday home right on the beach, Barley Cove Beach Holiday Homes are the ideal choice. Located alongside the Barley Cove Beach Hotel (open seasonally*) and right on the golden sandy Blue Flag Beach at Barley Cove on Mizen Head in West Cork. This is a family favourite seaside location attracting holiday makers back year after year after year.

The added attraction of these holiday homes is that you don’t have to move from the beach for your entire holiday. The bar and restaurant of the Barley Cove Beach Hotel can cater to your every need (closes seasonally*).

The Barley Cove Beach Hotel (open seasonally from April-October) offers a bar and restaurant and an outdoor decking area ideal for taking in the wonderful views and for keeping a watchful eye on little ones playing on the beach below.

Barley Cove Beach Courtyard Cottages are eight fully furnished holiday homes. Each has two bedrooms - one master double bedroom and a second bedroom with jo-jo bunk beds (double on the bottom and single on the top) and a shared bathroom - sleeping up to 5 people. The Cottages are two storey and feature a patio area both to the front and the rear so you can maximise the sunlight during your stay. The windows are large and fill the Cottages with natural light.

The kitchens are fully equipped with all modern conveniences including electric oven, microwave, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher and all necessary utensils, crockery and cutlery. The holiday homes also feature a washer/dryer. All bed linen and towels are provided however we ask that you bring along your own towels to use on the beach.

There is a cozy open fire in each of the holiday homes along with electric central storage heating. There is a TV/ DVD combination unit in the sitting room.

The air in Barley Cove is pure and fresh and makes you feel wholesome and at one with the mighty Atlantic Ocean.

Located near Mizen Head, Ireland's most southwesterly point, Barley Cove proudly boasts the highest sunshine and lowest rainfall averages in the country.

Electricity for heating and lighting is extra and is charged at a daily rate of €5.00 per day for May, June, July and August and is €7.00 per day for the remainder of the year.

A security deposit of €200.00 must be given to the manager on arrival. This will be returned to you provided the supervisor is satisfied that the terms and conditions of the rental have been complied with.

Barley Cove Hotel: Please note that the hotel is opened weekends only (Thursday through to Sunday) up until the October Bank Holiday (when it'll be opened 22 through 26 October). After the October Bank Holiday, the hotel will close seasonally.
