House Overview

Cashelfean Holiday Homes fit naturally into the landscape of the most magical Irish coastline. With majestic mountains as a backdrop the selfcatering holiday homes overlook sheltered Glengarriff Harbour studded with secret island, or the quiet waters of Dunmanus Bay. There are three types of houses in Cashelfean:

Cashelfean House 1 and 1a
This traditional whitewashed farmhouse retains itsoriginal charm. The old stone walls and huge open fireplace which takes up most of the gable wall have been kept just as they were. Only a couple of extra windows have been added to take advantage of the beautiful views of Dunmanus Bay.

Ground Floor: Kitchen, dining and sitting area, open fire, terrace.
First Floor: 2 Double bedrooms, bathroom.
Extension(1a): also to let separately; Single room apartment, with kitchen/dining, shower, toilet, openfire,terrace.

Cashelfean House 2
Right beside the sea on the pastures that slope down to Dunmanus Bay this is one of Cashelfeans most popular houses. Stone built and full of character the house has an extension in the traditional style which provides a third bedroom. There are fabulous views of the sea from every room and the house has been painted throughout with organic colours.

First Floor: 2 Double bedrooms, bathroom.

Cashelfean House 4
This traditional farmhouse has been completely renovated with modern interior but without loosing it's old style charm and character, sheltered by trees with magnificent views of Dunmanus Bay and Sheep's Head peninsula.

First Floor: 1 Double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and bathroom.


Extra Charges Heating, Electricity and Telephone which are all on meters are an additonal charge and are payable before departure based on individual meter readings.
