Castle Leslie Estate offers a choice of beautiful cottages and mews set in 1,000 acres of rolling countryside in County Monaghan with a range of activities to enjoy.

The Village Cottages

A perfect choice for large groups or families, these cottages enable you to do your own thing, whilst still availing of the many pleasures of the estate. The Equestrian Centre, Cookery School, Fishing and Spa facilities are all open to our Village Cottage guests. If you tire of self-catering, you are welcome to have a drink in Conor's bar or why not dine in Snaffles Brassiere. The Hunting Lodge door is always open!

Built in 2006, these wonderful four & five bedroom cottages cater for up to ten guests. The houses enjoy spacious living area complete with open fire and TV, DVD and hi-fi. The open plan fully fitted kitchen boast equipment needed to whip up the grandest of meals. Each cottage has an enclosed garden area with patio and picnic table.

4 bedroom village cottage: Spacious living room complete with open fire. Large open plan fully fitted kitchen with dining area, separate dining room, utility room and shower room.

Upstairs there is a master bedroom with ensuite shower room, a further double with ensuite shower, and a double and a twin sharing a bathroom. There is also a main bathroom on this floor.

5 bedroom village cottage: Spacious living room complete with open fire. Large open plan fully fitted kitchen with dining area with double doors into the adjoining dining room with a fabulous table to seat 10 guests comfortably. Utility room and shower room.

Upstairs there is a master bedroom with ensuite shower, 2 further double bedrooms each with ensuite shower, a double and twin sharing a bathroom. There is also a main bathroom on this floor.

The Old Stable Mews The Old Stable Mews (2 bedroom): a restored 18th century coach house offering twelve two bedroom Mews around a courtyard. Situated in the heart of the estate, they are set in a secluded and peaceful location where guests can truly relax yet enjoy all the Estate amenities.

Each Mews consists of two stories with accommodation upstairs and living below. There are two bedrooms upstairs consisting of a double bed and single bed in one room and one double bed in the other room with a separate bathroom with a shower. On the ground floor there is a bathroom with a bath and open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The Old Stable Mews are the ideal location for total rest & relaxation in the heart of the countryside whilst offering guests with an ideal base to explore the Estate and avail of the numerous amenities. They are a five minute drive from the Hunting Lodge and village and approx. 20 minute walk through the Estate (suitable walking footwear is required).

There is a public playground and tennis courts only 2 minutes walk from the Village Cottages. Glaslough village also has a two pubs, The Hunting Lodge at the entrance to the estate has a fabulous bar and restaurant.

Extra Charges: Travel cots are supplied (please request at time of booking) however high chairs are not.
Electricity and heating are included in the rate, bed linen and towels are supplied.
