The open plan kitchen dining area has all mod cons, a small oil burning stove and doors to the patio. The separate living room has an electric fire and TV. Downstairs also boasts a utility room and main bathroom with separate wheel in shower. A bed can also be put in the living room for wheelchair use if necessary (no extra cost). Upstairs boasts 4 double bedrooms each with an ensuite shower.

When the security gates are activated the lights automatically illuminate the driveway. The ground floor of the house is fully wheelchair accessible - there are front, back and side entrances to the house. The private secluded gardens (1 acre) are beautifully landscaped with lots of flowers and a seated patio area ideally suited for Barbeques (a BBQ will be provided for no extra charge).

The nearest pub, restaurant and convenience store are in Ballinamuck (approx 1 mile), with a further selection in Drumlish (2 miles). Longford town is 12 miles away and offers a further selection.

Bed linen, towels and heating are all included in the rate. Electricity is meter read and payable locally. A cot, highchair and extra bed can all be supplied at no extra cost. We ask you to refrain from smoking in the house.

Local attractions include Midland Karting which is a ten minute drive from Edgeworthstown this track is fully floodlit its 1000m long, 12m wide with an asphalt finish. Just arrive and drive ½ hour sessions and 15mins sessions for the individuals or group. A complementary sheet showing the fastest lap and drivers entire lap times. It also has paint ball shooting in the forest, which is fully floodlit and may need to be booked is advance.

Bowling: Longford Mega bowl is located on the Athlone road and is a Leisure complex with facilities for children of all ages.

Canoeing: Ballymahon has one of the country’s best white water rivers The River Inny, with rapids to test the ability of any canoeing standard. The club has qualified instructors who teach seniors and juniors young and old the art of canoeing.

Pitch & Putt: Longford has 2 pitch and putt courses one in Granard, and of course Murrayfield 18 hole championship course in natural parklands setting in the heart of the midlands. Murrayfield is often referred to as a mixture of Golf par 3; they cater for everybody from the novice to the enthusiast. Suitable for every age. Set Dancing weekend: (Nov) A feast of Irish music and Craic – 3 days of set dancing workshops and Ceili’s.
