Corofin is located at the southern end of the Burren and is often described as the gateway to the Burren. It is a quiet, picturesque village, though there is a lively nightlife in the town during the tourist season.
Corofin, a traditional angling village, is ideally located for exploring the world famous Burren landscape with its exotic flora and limestone crevices.
The Cliffs of Moher, Leamaneh Castle and the Health Spa at Lisdoonvarna are all within close proximity. Well worth a visit are Dysart O'Dea's archaeology centre and the Clare Heritage centre.
