The proximity to the Waterford coast provides easy access to beaches. Croanýs walled garden and paddocks support an organic smallholding with rare and friendly breeds of pigs, chickens, ducks, geese and goats providing fresh produce.

Croan Cottages are set in a landscaped courtyard. Boules, croquet and a games area are provided for guests.

Croan Cottages are adjacent to the Castle Morres estate which is now a Forest Park of almost 2, 000 acres. Both conifer and native broadleaf species can be found with some specimen trees dating back to the original estate gardens.

A driven pheasant shoot takes place from November to January each year. A myriad of tracks through the woodlands offer an endless variety of walks for all abilities.

Woodstock House and Gardens
Built in the 18th century, the house was destroyed by fire in 1922. The recently restored gardens contain many champion trees, considered to be the finest of their species in Europe and include formal pleasure and walled gardens, a Monkey Puzzle Walk, an impressive Noble Fir Avenue, a grotto, a dovecote containing a Camera Obscura and Tea Shop.
