House Overview

Dalewood Holiday Homes is a collection of self catering holiday homes located in the scenic village of Glengarriff - the gateway to the Beara Peninsula. Glengarrif, or in Irish, An Gleann Garbh (the rugged glen) is a name derived from the rugged beauty of the mountains and wooded valleys which surround the village.

These three bedroom holiday homes can sleep 5/6 people, and there are two bed layouts available:

• One master double bedroom (with ensuite bathroom), a twin bedroom and a single bedroom.
• One master double bedroom (with ensuite bathroom), a double bedroom (with 4ft bed) and a single bedroom.

There is also a pull out bed available, however this would be suitable for a small child only.

The living area is open plan, with comfortable furnishings, television and open fire - perfect for cosy nights in, while the fitted kitchen is fully equipped for all your self catering needs with oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The main bathroom is located upstairs and downstairs there is a small bathroom with toilet and handbasin.

Glengarriff village is situated overlooking a sheltered harbour and Garnish Island, otherwise known as Illuaculin, Irelands most outstanding garden island with its internationally famous collection of plants. Glengarriff is a gateway to the Ring of Kerry and Beara Peninsula and is a picturesque village with all the charm of West Cork.

Extra Charges:

A Security Deposit of €150 must be paid per house on arrival. For Bank Holiday Weekends/New Years Eve the Security Deposit is €250. The deposit will be refunded on/after departure once the local supervisor confirms the houses booked were left in an acceptable condition. If 2 or more houses are booked the security deposit is €500 per house.

Oil Heating is a fixed charge: €5 per night June - September, €10 per night October - May. Please note that if the usage exceeds these rates it is payable upon departure.
Electricity - Is meter read and payable on departure.
Cots available on request prior to arrival (subject to availability - please request at time of booking). Electricity is taken by meter reading on arrival and again on departure.
