Lee Valley Golf Course is an excellent example of great Parkland Golf in Ireland. With an interesting design by Irish Golfing Legend Christy O’Connor Jnr golfers will enjoy a mix of challenging Par 4’s, tempting Par 5’s and tricky picturesque Par 3’s. Voted in Golf Digests Top 100 courses and host to some of Cork & Munster’s top Amateur Tournaments Lee Valley is one of the most popular and appreciated golf clubs in Cork.



The Clashanure Bar & Restaurant are onsite and are know for its fine cuisine and friendly staff offers a warm welcome to Farran Lee residents. Serving an extensive menu daily and with a relaxed and social atmosphere the Clashanure Bar & Restaurant is another excellent example of the quality facilities on offer to Farran Lee guests.

The nearest village to Farran Lee is Ballincollig, just a mere 5 minute drive away. Offering amenities including supermarkets, clothes and shoe shops, chemists, newsagents, cafes, bars, restaurants and cinema as well as a great children’s playground. Alternatively Cork City Centre is a 20-minute drive, Macroom Town 30 minutes drive and Killarney 1 hours drive, each offering different stores and experiences.

Farran Lee is blessed with a host of activities situated just a short distance from the Country Club including Fishing, Equestrian, Nature Walks, Farran Woods, Castles, Wildlife Parks and Children’s Activity Centres. Leisureworld in Bishopstown (10 minute drive away) offers a number of swimming pools, and leisure facilities to the public. Some preferential rates have been organised for activities in Cork for Farran Lee Residents, which a member of staff would be happy to advise you on (offers may be seasonal and subject to availability).

Close by there is Farran Wood with miles of pathways around the forest and reservoir with children’s play area as well as deer and duck. This is an ideal place for a family relaxing day out for a picnic and a walk.
