The Lodges at Highfield Golf & Country Club are a truly unique log development handcrafted in authentic Canadian Cedarwood logs with all the comforts and exacting standards of Failte Ireland 4* quality accommodation.
Incorporating dramatic double height living space with beautiful furnishings, high spec kitchens with interegated appliances and top quality bathrooms. The spacious luxury bedrooms, fitted with 6ft or twin size quality sprung beds, with pure cotton bed linen and fluffy white towels supplied – the lodges are a home from home. Outside there is large decked veranda opening on to a central landscaped garden.
The Lodges are situated adjacent to the golf course and its stunning log clubhouse, with a range of facilities available to guests including the Highfield Bar, Lumberjacks Restaurant and Wine Bar, a golf driving range, tennis courts, a gym, a walled garden and a children’s play area.
Located just outside the village of Carbury, North Kildare, yet only 30 minutes drive from the Liffey Valley junction of the M50 and 10km from Enfield, the train station and the M4 motorway – the main Dublin to Galway road.
Each Lodge can sleep up to 6 people (some can facilitate 7) with:
Bedroom 1 – Downstairs. Ensuite with free-standing bath. Superking/Twin
Bedroom 2 – Upstairs. Ensuite with power shower. Superking/Twin (& 1 single or 3 single beds on request-limited availability)
Bedroom 3 – Upstairs Mezzanine. Loft style room overlooking living area. Ensuite with power shower. Superking/Twin

Electricity and (gas) heating are charged together at 12€/day for short stays, bed linen and towels are provided and changed weekly, a cot and high chair can be requested at no extra charge (cot linen not supplied).

Kildare is a county of numerous leisure activities – golf at The K Club, horse racing at The Curragh, Punchestown, and Naas, the fantastic National Stud & Japanese Gardens and the Lullymore Bog Heritage Park, all an easy drive away. The bustling town of Edenderry is only five minutes drive with an array of supermarkets, banks, bars and restaurants. The local banks of the Grand Canal provide pleasant walks and are used for angling and cruising leisure pursuits.

“Myself and 5 friends stayed here recentley. We loved everything about it. We did a weekend break 2bb & 2 dinner package, booked with a girl called Avril who was very helpful. We had dinner theFriday night, fantastic all of our orders perfect, drinks in the bar after infront of the open fire until the late hours. Up for brekie the next morning, out for 18 holes then back for dinner. Another night infront of the fire was fantastic. Upstairs we had a laugh playing pool and darts. The lodges were out of this world, have not seen standards like this in 4 star hotels. Lovely staff, food and atmosphere, cant wait to go back”
