Kinsale Harbour is located 700 metres from this property. For a number of years Kinsale has been an important deep sea angling centre, and blue shark are a speciality of the town. The wreck of the Lusitania lying 11.5 miles from the Old Head of Kinsale is an excellent and very popular angling mark. There are some good shore angling marks from the rocks on the Old Head of Kinsale and the new bridge in Kinsale is a favourite spot at certain stages of the tide. Whale and dolphin watching tours also operate in the waters in and around Ram Head to the Old Head of Kinsale.
