Traditional style 4 bedroom cottage on a large site within strolling distance of the quaint harbour village of Ballyvaughan.
All modern conviences are available in the fully fitted kitchen
The cottage overlooks the beautiful Cappanawalla mountain on the edge of the Burren National Park.
Ideal base for touring North Clare / South Galway area. Molls Cottage is situated in the quaint fishing village of Ballyvaughan with its well known pubs and restaurants, serving locally caught sea food, and traditional music sessions. The cottage boasts traditional flag floor, cathedral ceiling and wood burning stove in the living area.
Electricity is taken by meter reading on arrival and again on departure and is an extra charge per holiday cottage.
Leisure activities:
For the more energetic people there are plenty of activities ranging from hill walking, cycling, mountain climbing, horse riding etc
For those that like to relax, there is the beautiful sandy beach at Fanore only 15 minutes drive away.
For a delightful day trip, visit Doolin ( 25 minutes drive) with its traditional music and ferry to the Aran Islands.

Local Area Overview
An oasis in the heart of the Burren.
Ballyvaughan is located between the Burren and the southern coastline of Galway Bay. It is located on the N67 and is 39km from Ennis. 59km from Shannon Airport. Ballyvaughan is a fishing village. The beaches and coastline of Ballyvaughan are ideal for swimming, kayaking, boating and fishing. There is an abundance of pubs, restaurants, craft workshops.
The surrounding Burren area is renowned for its archeology, and it’s Arctic, Alpine and Mediterranean plants which grow all over the limestone landscape. Ballyvaughan is surrounded by megalithic tombs such as Poulnabrone Dolmen, celtic ring fort, medieval churches and castles.
The tourist information office is located in the craft shop at The Village Stores on the main street, next door to the Spar supermarket
