Only a mile from Riverrun, this historic village is a charming market town situated on the east bank of the River Erne midway between Lough Oughter and Upper Lough Erne.

The area around Belturbet is renowned for the quality of its coarse fishing. Belturbet also boasts a 9 hole championship golf course and further golfing facilities are situated nearby at the Slieve Russell Hotel and The Radisson Farnham Hotel.

The lively atmosphere of Belturbet extends to the numerous entertaining and friendly pubs and restaurants in the locality.

Boat Hire: A boat is bookable in advance by the caretaker. The small open fishing boats are suitable for 1 to 3 adults. No children are allowed. Boats are available from 7.00am and are to be returned by one hour after sunset. Petrol is charged on a usage basis. Any damage to the boats, including breakage of propellers, will be charged for.
