HOUSE OVERVIEW

Number 6, 7, 8 Sandbanks are 3 bedroom townhouses located in a quiet cul de sac a few minutes walk from Kilkee’s magnificent sandy beach and indoor water leisure facility “Waterworld”

These houses are modern townhouses, each with their own enclosed spacious paved back garden.. Heating is by means of storage and electric heaters .

Satellite TV, DVD-CD, Radio are also provided.
The kitchen is fitted with all mod cons including the usual electric appliances.

There is a downstairs toilet and shower. The Bathroom and the 3 bedrooms are located On the 1st Floor.

House Number 6, 7 & 8 all sleeps 5 -layout as follows. I Double, 1 Twin and 1 Single.

Electricity & Heating costs [€5.00 per day] are payable in addition to rental rates.

Bed linen provided. Towels available but we do recommend that you bring extra towels. Cots available on request prior to arrival [no extra charge]. Please note that ther is no Highchair in the house.

Leisure activities:

Kilkee’s horse shoe shaped Beach and Bay which have Blue Flag Beach status offer safe Beach facilities –excellent swimming, snorkling and scuba diving as well as Fishing and Boat Trips. >li> The Town boasts a fantastic facility in “Waterworld”just on the Beachfront., This is an indoor Leisure Centre just 3 mns walk.from Sandbanks.
The Town has an 18 Hole Golf Course and Pitch and Putt facilities while the Greg Norman designed championship Golf Course at Doonbeg is nearby.
There are many popular cliff-top walks.
Ideal touring base for visiting the West Clare region and The Burren.

Local Area Overview

Kilkee is situated in County Clare on the West Coast of Ireland, just 48km from Shannon Airport. There are bus services linking Kilkee with all major cities and towns of Ireland, and roads connect Kilkee with Ennis (56km), Limerick (92km), Galway (123km), Cork (193km) and Dublin (290km).

It is known to be one of the best and safest bathing place on the western coast, and is home to the famous Pollock Holes, a large natural rock pool which offers great swimming. It is also home to some of the most dramatic cliff walks.

Fantastic

“Stayed in no 6 recently, the one with the red door. It was a great house to be honest. It had two double bedrooms and then another room with a double bed and single bed. It was very quiet and so easy to access everything in the town. I would definately recommend this to anybody and the lady who looks after the houses is just fantastic, very helpful and nothing is a problem. Kitchen and living area were just what was needed and a lot of things you would'nt think should be in the kitchen were. 10/10”
