To compliment An Seanachaí Bar & restaurant 12 architecturally designed holiday cottages were developed creating a unique and special holiday complex set in an ideal location to explore West Waterford and East Cork in the South of Ireland.

These newly built holiday cottages are just five minutes from Dungarvan, 20 mins from Youghal and 10 mins from beautiful Ardmore beach. Located just 80 mins from Cork international Airport an hour and a quarter from Rosslare and 40 mins from Waterford City, these cottages located in the heart of County Waterford are very accessible.

These cottages sleep 6 having 1 double en suite, 1 twin and a family bathroom on the first floor with a double on the ground floor.

Also on the ground floor is a shower room adjacent to the downstairs double room, a utility room, visitors cloakroom, open plan kitchen/dining area and separate living room. Each house has a patio area with outdoor furniture.

The holiday cottages are ideally located to explore the naturally beautiful county Waterford, take a short drive to Mahon Falls in the heart of the Comeraghs, or a historical trip to the beautiful Heritage Town of Lismore. If fishing is your hobby we are situated equidistant from the Blackwater and the Suir, and can organise for the more adventurous deep sea angling. Play the Golf triangle, Dungarvan Golf Club, West Waterford and The Gold Coast, three for the price of two. Explore the neighbouring counties of Cork, Tipperary, Kilkenny and Wexford.

An Seanachaí Bar & Restaurant has remained unspoilt by the advances of the twenty first century and has remained one of the great traditional Irish pubs and eating houses. An Seanachaí continues a tradition that began way back in the mid 1800's during the famine years.

An Seanachaí Bar & Restaurant has been lovingly restored to its former glory and was re-opened in June 2006 by new owners Johnnie & Mags Hurley and their family.

Our restaurant staff pride themselves in producing homemade wholesome foods using local produce where possible to produce our food. We guarantee that you will not go hungry in An Seanachaí.

Electricity is charge extra durng the summer months it is charged at the rate of €6.00 per day and during the winter it is charged at the rate of €11.00 per day,
