Located on the stunning southwest coast of Ireland, a mere 45 minutes west of Shannon Airport, The Lodge at Doonbeg offers guests beautiful seaside accommodations, unparalleled service, and spectacular links golf. The accommodations at The Lodge at Doonbeg, multi-room suites and cottages, are owned exclusively by Members of Doonbeg Golf Club and are made available to visitors when members are not in residence. A distinct departure from traditional hotel offerings, Doonbeg's suites and cottages feature hand-picked furniture, antiques, and art, which lend a unique and residential feel. Our accommodations are meant to serve as our guests' home away from home, offering all the amenities one would expect and more.

An atmosphere of genuine warmth and comfort with casual furniture and furnishings envelops visitors upon entering The Lodge. Antique furniture and elegant light fixtures, collected from all over Ireland, England and Northern Europe, are combined with hand-hewn materials to convey a unique sense of calm and warm welcome.

Each two storey Golf Lodge boasts a spacious open plan kitchen dining living area. The kitchen is fully fitted will all mod cons (washer dryer in separate utility area), the dining table seats 6 and the living area (seats 6) has a warm welcoming gas fire, flat screen TV (satellite), DVD and CD player as well as wireless internet access. The 4 bedrooms can be either double or twin (please let us know when booking) and each has an ensuite shower room. The bedrooms are spacious and have a TV with pay per view movie channels. All lodges have at least two bedrooms downstairs, in some cases three.

The Golf Lodges are decorated to a very high specification and no expense has been spared for your comfort; they have underfloor heating and each bedroom has air conditioning units. Each golf lodge is 3000sq foot in size so all very comfortable and spacious. Some have conservatories and all have open plan gardens.

The nearest shop is 2km away in the village of Doonbeg. There is a fabulous beach within a short stroll of the lodges.

There is one lodge with wheelchair adapted shower room downstairs. Electricity and heating are included in the rate, bed linen and towels are supplied. Babysitting can be arranged locally. A cot and highchair can be supplied, however we cannot supply extra beds. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets in these holiday homes. Guests are respectfully asked to smoke outside the homes.
