Georganised in the early 1700’s, the property can be traced right back to the 14th Century – indeed some of the medieval features still remain, such as the hidden stone mural stairs, cannon ledge and pot plug holes. Its latest revamp incorporates some more impressive 21st Century additions in terms of energy efficiency. It has a geothermal heating system that uses water from the pond (fenced off) and electricity that can be obtained from a nearby wind farm.

Spread out over 240sq meters, accommodation includes a rather grand entrance hall with a striking staircase, a large living room with enough space to fit two sofas comfortably and an open fire. The kitchen dining room is fitted with modern painted country style units, integrated stainless steel appliances (electric hob and oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, built in Miele Nespresso Coffee Machine) and Belfast sink. The table will seat up to 8 people. There is also a utility room with washing machine and a downstairs toilet. An exposed stone wall, flagstone flooring and ceiling beams enhance the rustic feel.

The first floor has 1 double and 2 twin bedrooms as well as a shower room. The bedroom on the second floor boasts 2 double beds, with an archway dividing this into 2 semi-private bedrooms, as well as a bathroom

Outside the property is surrounded by 2 acres of beautiful gardens flanked by mature trees sheltering it from wind and providing seclusion. There is a private garden to the rear of the house for guests of The Pink House. A communal club class all weather tennis court is set into the walled garden and there is also a sheltered table tennis area.

Electricity and heating are meter read and payable locally, bed linen and towels are supplied. We can supply a high chair at an extra charge of 10€/stay. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets. The nearest shop and pub are in Baldwinstown, only 2km away, there is an array of wonderful pubs and restaurants offering good food within a 20 minute drive. There is a wide selection of beaches to choose from, the closest swimming beach being in Kilmore Quay. Wexford town is only a 20 minute drive away.
