House Overview

The Stables is a lovely newly restored complex of holiday homes nestled in fantastic enclosed 2 acre grounds of Ballymagyr Castle, featuring a central courtyard, mature trees, a 75m long Georgian pond (fenced off), an all weather tennis court and a magnificent sheltered walled garden. The original buildings date back to the 14th Century. The converted outbuildings offer eco friendly living in an idyllic country setting. Many of the original features of the stable remain including the stone walls and timber trusses.

This 3 bedroom (mid terrace) terraced holiday home is located in the old stable block and comprises of an entrance hall, ground floor toilet and large open plan kitchen living dining room which opens onto a south facing large timber deck with communal (enclosed) garden area with garden furniture, this garden area is shared between just 4 holiday homes. The kitchen area is fully fitted with electric hob and oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher and the washing machine is in the adjoining utility area. The dining and living areas will both seat up to 6 people.

Upstairs boasts two double and a twin bedroom as well as main bathroom with shower over bath.

The complex has beautiful gardens flanked by mature trees sheltering it from wind and providing seclusion. A communal club class all weather tennis court is set into the walled garden and there is also a sheltered table tennis area.

Electricity and heating (geothermal) are extra and payable locally, bed linen and towels are supplied. We can supply a highchair at an extra rate of 10€/week. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets. The nearest shop and pub are in Baldwinstown only 2km away, and there is an array of wonderful pubs and restaurants offering good food within a 20 minute drive. There is a wide selection of beaches to choose from, the closest swimming beach being in Kilmore Quay. Wexford town is only 20 minute drive km away.

These lovely holiday homes are on the same grounds as The Pink House (sleeps 8). There are a total of 6 “Stable” holiday homes offering 2 and 3 bedroom accommodation. Should you require more than one unit please feel free to contact us.
