This dormer bungalow boasts a large open plan kitchen dining area with a separate living room with potbelly stove inside the large open fireplace, as well as TV, DVD, CD. Irish and UK channels are available but there is no satellite/cable.

Landscaped on its own spacious grounds with panoramic views over Trinity Lake, Cavan, and close to hotels, restaurants, golf, forest parks, horse riding, local fishing spots; it is an ideal location for family retreats. The open plan garden has garden furniture and a large south-facing lawn garden.

Located in the heart of Ireland’s Lakeland district, Trinity Haven is only 90 minutes drive from Dublin and is a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle. It is a warm welcoming residence offering the best of Ireland’s hospitality with every modern comfort, and where you will enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday. It is an ideal base for touring the northwest.

The nearest convenience store, pub and restaurant are only 4 km away with a further selection in Cavan town (6km). Bed linen and towels are provided as well as 1 cot and high chair. Pets are welcome outside and nearby there is a well established private kennel and cattery service which is less than a 10 minute walk away where pets can be left overnight (Trinity Kennels).

Cavan Leisure Centre is only 6km away. The Radisson Farnham Spa Hotel is only 10 minutes drive away.

Golf: The Radisson Golf Club is also only 10 minutes drive. Cavan Golf Club is 6km and the Slieve Russell Golf and Country Club is 30 minutes drive.

Killykeen Forest Park: only 5 minutes drive offers a peaceful setting around the lakes and islands of Lough Oughter, has many forest trails and picnic areas for all the family to enjoy.

Walking/Cycling: Whether it is along the shores of Trinity Lake, Killykeen Forest Park or Lough Gowna and Lough Oughter there are many beautiful country views to choose from.

Angling: With angling being the No 1 leisure activity in Cavan, there are many fish filled lakes within very easy access to Trinity Haven. Trinity Lake is only 10 minutes walk, Lough Oughter 10 minutes drive, Lough Sheelin is less than 20 minutes drive.

Touring the North West: take a leisurely drive to Enniskillen (50km) and enjoy the beauty of Lower Lough Erne, followed by a shopping spree or a well deserved treat in one of its many coffee houses or restaurants or visit the nearby Marble Arch Caves. For day trips, why not journey west to Lough Rynne Castle Hotel and Gardens in Mohill, Leitrim or to the Arigna Mining Experience Centre near Drumshambo. Journey North East to Castle Leslie in Glaslough, Co. Monaghan. Closer to home visit Cavan Crystal Hotel in Cavan Town, or the Cavan County Museum in Ballyjamesduff.

Cavan town has a good selection of hotels with regular evening entertainment and excellent pubs and restaurants, which can also be found in the neighbouring villages of Crossdoney, Butlersbridge and Ballinagh.
