Trinity Haven is a four bedroom, private self catering holiday home that offers superb accommodation with panoramic views over Trinity Lake, and close to Killykeen Forest Park in Co. Cavan. Trinity Haven is an ideal base for family retreats or a golfing, fishing, walking, boating, water sports or horse-riding holiday....or a haven for just getting away from it all.
Trinity Haven is 15 minutes drive from Cavan Town, only 90 minutes drive from Dublin and 40 minutes drive from Enniskillen. The nearest convenience store, pub and restaurant is only 4 km away with a further selection and local taxi service available in Cavan town (6km).
This self-catering Cavan Accommodation has all mod cons and consists of 4 large bedrooms (two double and two twin) and three bathrooms (two of which are en-suite and all with electric/power showers). One of the double bedrooms is downstairs beside the downstairs Shower-room, WC and WHB.
Facilities include fridge freezer, oven, hob, fan, micro-wave, dishwasher, washing machine and separate tumble dryer, TV with Irish / UK channels, DVD and CD Stereo.
There is oil-fired central heating which is thermostatically controlled throughout the holiday home to make your visit as enjoyable as possible, and there is a wood burning stove in the living room...perfect for cozy nights in. Beds are dressed with fresh bed linen for your arrival and towels are supplied free of charge together with one cot and one high chair.
The large south-facing garden has garden furniture and offers a safe place for children to play (a swing and slide set has just been added for the 2011 season). The high ceilings and lots of windows give panoramic views over Trinity Lake.
Cavan Town: There is a great selection of hotels in which to enjoy an evening or afternoon meal or simply a relaxing coffee or drink. These include the Radisson Farnham Hotel; the Cavan Crystal Hotel with its full selection of Cavan crystal for purchase; as well as the Kilmore Hotel and the Farnham Hotel. Slightly further afield is the Crover House Hotel towards Mount Nugent with its ideal setting along the shores of Lough Sheelin; and Lough Rynne Castle Hotel in Mohill, Co. Leitrim. There are excellent pubs and restaurants in Cavan town and also in the neighbouring villages of Crossdoney, Butlersbridge and Ballinagh.
The arts scene is vibrant in Cavan town with a variety of local music and cultural festivals throughout the year. Both the County Cavan Drama Festival and the NYAH Arts Festival take place annually during March/April. Many heritage events take place throughout the town during Heritage Week in Aug/Sept of every year. Traditional music sessions regularly take place in the town.
Places to See: Take a leisurely drive to Enniskillen (50km) and enjoy the beauty of Lower Lough Erne followed by a shopping spree or a well deserved treat in one of its many coffee houses or restaurants. Visit Marble Arch Caves & Florence Court Gardens Gardens both near Enniskillen, Arigna Mines Museum in Carrick-on-Shannon, the Cavan County Museum in Ballyjamesduff, or Dun a Rí Forest Park near Kingscourt.

For Golfers: Cavan has a magnificient selection of courses, for example: the new Radisson Golf Club is less than 10 minutes drive, Cavan Golf Club is less than 15 minutes drive and the Slieve Russell Golf and Country Club is only 30 minutes away. For those seeking the less professional challenge McSeain’s Pitch ‘n’ Putt (Tel: 049 433 7138) in Cornafaen is an 18-hole par 3 to par 4 course worthy of a visit and very reasonably priced. It is only 15 minutes drive to Cornafaen.

For Anglers: With angling being the No 1 leisure activity in Cavan, there are many fish filled lakes within very easy access to Trinity Haven. Trinity Lake is only a 10 minute walk, Lough Oughter a 10 minute drive, and Lough Sheelin and Lough Gowna are less than a 20 minute drive. A natural environment means natural, wild fish, including bream, roach, perch, eel, hybrids and pike.
