House Overview
Villa Tiago is quietly situated on a hillside overlooking the bay of Plakias. Its distance from the fishing village of Plakias is about 2km. The village has nice beaches and a number of tavernas, bars and cafes.
Villa Tiago stands in an elevated position with lovely views over a valley to the coast at Plakias. You enter on the ground floor where there is a large open-plan living area; a wooden staircase leads you to the first floor with small verandas that enjoy the far-reaching views.

Maid service twice a week. An 11th person can be accommodated on the sofa bed on request - supplement £300 per week. Air-conditioning available - £180 per week on request.
Location
The beachside resort of Plakias, 2km away, offers a selection of welcoming tavernas, cafes, souvenir shops and mini-markets. It is also the base for lots of activities including scuba diving, cycling, hiking and wind surfing. The Plakias beach is a rounded bay with rocky outcrops enclosing it on each side, the shoreline is made up of a shingle and coarse sand mix. 10km away is Preveli Beach; a beautiful sandy cove, standing at the mouth of the Kourtalióti Gorge, where the Megapotomos river meets the Libyan Sea. It is fringed by groves of date palm trees which have earned it the nickname of Palm beach. There are daily boat trips to Preveli from Plakias, or you can take a demanding walk down to the cove from the beautiful Preveli monastery, another sight well worth a visit. 13km east of Plakias, overlooking the Libyan sea, the monastery complex was rebuilt in this higher, safer location from its original position beside the river during the Turkish occupation.
