House Overview

Westview House is a stunning seven bedroom property with uninterrupted sea views located in Glandore, a village in the heart of West Cork. This luxury self catering accomodation comes with its own home cinema, snooker room, spa area, exercise room and outside hot tub.

This property is a modern dormer bungalow with spectualor views, perched high on a hill overlooking the old iron single carriageway bridge that links Glandore with Union Hall which was featured in the film ‘The War of the Buttons’.

This impressive house is 4000 square ft in size and has seven double bedrooms. Upstairs there are two suites with an additional two small bedrooms with king sized beds. The Eastern Suite has its own kitchenette (making this property ideal for two families travelling together. Three of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms.

Downstairs there is a large master bedroom with queen size bed, ensuite bathroom and a large south facing window which has views over the sea and Union Hall. There are also two additional bedrooms with king size beds.

This impressively unique self catering holiday home also contains the following features to make for a truly luxurious and memorable stay:

• Westerly facing kitchen with all modern conveniences.
• Large dining room with a unique 12 setting table and chairs which were all handcrafted locally.
• A piano (electric) is located in the dining room also for those who wish to entertain guests.
• There is a spacious sitting room with open fire and expansive southern views. The patio doors open to the west and receive the evening sun where garden furniture is provided on the external deck area. There is a flat screen TV in the sitting room and the stereo has external speakers over the deck area.
• Home cinema with overhead projector, large pull down screen and surround sound.
• Snooker room
• The external garage has been converted to a Spa Area with Sauna, Shower, Steam Shower, Cross Trainer, Exercise Bike, Weights and Table Tennis.
• An external stairs lead to the grass roof terrace over the spa rooms which provides a private sun area and magnificent views.
• A second deck on the eastern end of the site provides home to the external hot tub, a great favourite for all.
• Westview House has landscaped gardens throughout and is extremely safe with electronic gates at the entrance.

The property has oil heating throughout.

Please Note: This property will not accept large groups of adults (i.e. hen & stag parties) and would prefer the house was used by families.

For groups of adults travelling together, at least half the guests will be required to provide ID in the form of either a passport or driving licence upon check in and for families with children - one guest per family will be required to supply ID.

Extra Charges:

In order to encourage a "Green Agenda" electricity and heating fuel are metered. An adequate amount for reasonable use is included in your rate. Excess usage will be charged at cost.
A security deposit of €500 cash is requested upon arrival, which will be refunded within 7 days after departure. For non-family groups, the security deposit will be €1000 upon arrival.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
Cot and high chair available on request - Please bring along your own cot linen.

Unfortunately pets are not permitted inside this property, guests are welcome to bring a small pet but the pet must remain outside.
