We value your feedback and lots of you have expressed concern when traveling to our overseas
villas for your child’s safety around swimming pools. We know how important this is to you and
as a result we are now able to offer you the Safety Turtle which will provide you with peace
of mind as your child plays beside you in the pool. In no way will this replace monitoring and
constant supervision, however it is a valuable added safety element to your holiday.
This device warns parents if their baby or toddler has entered water allowing adults to react before serious injury occurs. While nothing can replace parental supervision, the Safety Turtle is an added security measure whilst on holiday with small children.
The Safety Turtle wristband is put on a child’s wrist and features a small water-sensitive turtle, so kids are keener on wearing them whilst playing about on holidays. Each Turtle is permanently sealed and ruggedly built to withstand child’s play.
Should the child wearing the Turtle enter water, an audible shrill alarm sounds from the base station which needs to be located within 60meters from the poolside, alerting adults to the situation.
The Safety Turtle and its base station, is the only security system that provides continuous protection in a pool setting. The safety device works with water hazards such as pools, hot tubs, fountains, ponds, lakes and rivers – it will also at home or away from home. It will also work in a salt water pool. This product is not for use in the ocean.
Easy to operate, parents are supplied with a small key which is used to lock the band in place around the baby’s or child’s wrist. With no time to delay, the alarm will sound immediately upon submersion and continues until manually reset. Making sure there are no false alarms the device is designed not to sound if the Turtle is just splashed or sprayed. The base station must be plugged in at all times.
Additional wristbands are available so that more than one baby or child can be protected with the same Safety Turtle base unit. The only thing to remember is that the wristbands must all be the same color as the turtle alarm fitted into the base station.
The device is portable and durable and comes with a handy shoulder bag which is easy to carry as baggage.
